The struggle for freedom of the kurdish peoples and their friends in all four parts of Kurdistan cannot be broken.

We were deeply concerned to learn this morning that a large-scale state crackdown has taken place in Turkey/North Kurdistan, targeting comrades of the ESP (Socialist Party of the Oppressed, a member of the DEM Party), as well as SKM, SGDF, DİSK/Limter-İş, Polen Ekoloji and BEKSAV.

Less than two weeks ago, we held a panel in Cologne together with the comrades and discussed the current tasks of people in solidarity with Rojava in light of the attacks by HTS and Turkey on Rojava. Today, the comrades in Bakûr themselves have become the target of attacks by the Turkish state.

Just as every achievement of Kurds worldwide is attacked by the Turkish state—as was recently seen in Rojava—people in solidarity with Kurdistan are also directly coming under attack.

We will continue to strengthen our Kurdistan/Rojava solidarity in line with the tasks discussed at our joint panel, and at the same time we demand the immediate release of the detained comrades of the ESP, SKM, SGDF, DİSK/Limter-İş, Polen Ekoloji and BEKSAV!
